I remember coming around the bend with butterflies in my stomach, waiting to see that yellow blinking light indicating if the park was open that day. It usually was. And back when Mrs Johnson (I think) used to run the place, every hour or two she'd yell through the megaphone "Snack bar, five minutes!".
